It’s fair to say the Yorkshire Dales has its fair share of incredible places to visit too - and there’s one location you need to check out.
Situated on the far edge of the Dales, not far from the Forest of Bowland, is one of the most impressive waterfalls you’ll find in Yorkshire.

An impressive 40ft high, Scaleber Force can be found along Stockdale Beck, hidden in the Scaleber Woods Nature Reserve, Yorkshire Live reports.
It’s just 1.6 miles from the market town of Settle, around an hour and a half’s drive away from Manchester and the highest rated area in the UK for Airbnbs, making it ideal for a weekend away.
Scaleber Force runs over cliffs and falls down into a deep pool of water - just 10 minutes away from Malham, the atmospheric waterfall is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy tourist spot.
Tourists can relax in the tranquil wooded area with so many things to see in the Yorkshire Dales nature reserve.
If you don’t fancy walking from Settle, the waterfall is easy to access via parking near High Hill Lane and Stockdale Lane, you can follow a path down the woodland trail to the waterfall.
From there you’ll be able to view the waterfall from above. Then you can take the path which winds down to the bottom of the force - just be warned it can be slippery.
The picturesque waterfall is a real treat for the eyes and well worth a visit.
