While we rarely get a peek into the bathrooms of A-listers, the odds are never zero – and we've just spotted Cat Deeley's affordable shampoo that rescued her strands after an at-home hair dye mishap.
As a beauty team, you can often find us with our detective hat on, scanning the background of celebrities' Instagram posts to uncover the products that their routines actually make home to – whether that be one of the best perfumes for women or the best face moisturiser.
Fortunately, Cat Deeley just gave us an insight into a recent bathroom hair dye experience, which also gave us the chance to spy one of the best drugstore shampoos perched on the side of the sink...
Made with clean ingredients of 97% natural origin, such as watercress and Indian cress, this vegan shampoo works to revitalise and strengthen the hair from root to tip. Additionally, grapeseed oil works to boost shine, while olive leaf extract soothes a dry scalp. Free from silicones and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate), this gentle formula also boasts a delicate yet lively pear and amber fragrance.
In a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, 25th August, Cat Deeley documented a 'day on set' – notably, having her hair washed in the shower by her hairstylist, Chad Maxwell. With her head tipped upside down, Deeley can be heard saying: "It's in my eyes," as her makeup artist, Amanda Grossman, asks: "What should I do? It's all over everything." Maxwell then questions: "Why are you covered in hair colour?"
While the relatable video first made us chuckle, we then put our sleuthing skills to good use as we spotted a few bottles of shampoo lurking in the background. What we believe to be the Childs Farm Blackberry & Apple Hair and Body Wash earned a spot in Deeley's shower; however, we also peeped a very quick glimpse of a green tube perched on the side of her sink.

After some research (and a Google search or two), we uncovered the green tube in question to be Attitude's Nourishing Hair Shampoo.
