Cardiff Council has released details of all its schools shutting or partially shutting on March 2 for the teachers' strike. Teachers are walking out for a second time in a continuing row over pay after rejecting a renewed offer from education minister Jeremy Miles .- two more walk outs are planned for March 15 and 16.
Some schools in Cardiff will be closed entirely to all pupils while others will only be partially closed. The council, along with other local education authorities in Wales, said the full picture won't be clear until the day.
Staff don't have to tell employers they intend to strike and a coinciding work to rule by heads and school leaders means they won't provide cover for striking teachers.
