The UK's fastest growing supermarket, The Food Warehouse, has revealed the opening date for a new Nottingham store. The 10,039 sq ft store at Riverside Retail Park will welcome customers on Tuesday July 5 and is pulling out all the stops with opening day treats.
To celebrate the opening, the store has £1,000 worth of vouchers to give away to the first 100 customers through the door. Customers joining the queue before 7.45am on opening day will also receive a raffle ticket, with the chance to win one of seven prizes, including two Daewoo Halogen Air Fryers, three JML Household Essential Hampers and two Daewoo Wireless Bluetooth Fabric Speakers.
Shoppers can also get their hands on free sample from huge brands including Tyson Fury’s energy drink brand Furocity, Wall’s, Weetabix and Pot Noodle. As if that's not enough incentive to get out of bed and head down there the first 200 through the door will receive a free tub of Jelly Beans.

Twenty five new jobs have been created by the store, which is the second in Nottingham. The first opened in December 2020 at Lady Bay Retail Park.
The store will be packed with popular brands spanning across frozen, chilled, fresh and branded grocery lines, as well as offering a wide selection of homeware products. The frozen aisles will have a range of brands exclusive to The Food Warehouse (and sister store Iceland), including Greggs, TGI Friday’s, Slimming World, Barratts, Harry Ramsden’s, Del Monte, Chiquito and Cathedral City.
Nottingham shoppers can get their hands on stacks of money-saving deals including barbecue essentials plus a whole range of big family packs of squash, baked beans, coffee and washing powder. The supermarket is also offering eight "magnificent" deals for one day only.
Every customer who shops at the new Nottingham store on its opening day will be able to make the most of one-off deals, including Velvet Comfort Toilet Rolls 9 Pack for just £2.25 and an 18-pack of Carling Original Lager Beer for £10. Launched seven years ago, The Food Warehouse now has more than 150 stores across Britain and shows no sign of slowing down, with significant growth plans for the remainder of 2022.
To take advantage of the offers, shoppers need to have an active Bonus Card (either physical or by using the app). The store will open at 8am, and will be open seven days a week.
