The festival at a Welsh castle being held on one of the 'most beautiful sites in the UK'

The world's first trail running and music festival, Love Trails Festival, is returning to the Gower for 2023. For four days, festival-goers can enjoy live music and non-competitive runs at the breath-taking site of Weobley Castle in Llanrhidian, Swansea.

Three stages will host a "cherry-picked" selection of DJs and live acts including Irish singer and rapper 'Biig Piig' and drum and base DJ 'High Contrast' who hails from Penarth. Inspirational talks and workshops will also be on offer as well as the chance to take part in coasteering, surfing, wild swimming and yoga. You can see the best pictures from last year's festival here.

During a four-day action-packed itinerary, runners can explore the dramatic landscape, beaches and trails with non-competitive runs ranging from 3km to 55km. At night is when the party comes alive, with three stages of live acts performing under the open sky. On the upcoming festival, event founder Theo Larn-Jones said: "2023 is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before. We've combined an ambitious & creative run experience programme and are excited to release more information about the music-line up in the coming months.

“For four-days, we create an unique weekend filled with experiences for every kind of adventurer, bringing together fun, friendship & of course trail running adventures of all shapes and sizes. There's absolutely nothing else like it out there and we can't wait for people to experience it all next summer.” You can get your tickets here.
