  • France is currently the top destination with 102 million international visitors recorded in 2025, while Spain hosted a record 96.8 million tourists last year.
  • Global travel is anticipated to rise significantly, reaching 2.4 billion international trips by 2040 compared to 1.5 billion in 2019.
  • Separate data from Amadeus and UN Tourism revealed the Czech Republic is Europe's fastest-growing destination, with air travel bookings up 18 per cent.
