The Ekin-Su show with a grimacing Davide pushed away - our expert delivers scathing verdict

They may have won Love Island but is Ekin-Su and Davide's romance sinking quicker than one of Laura Whitmore's exhausting jokes?

After being separated from his queen for almost a week the shrewd Italian was reunited with the gym dynamo that is Ekin-Su.

Our body language expert Judi James took a look at their love language as the pair went on an Instragram frenzied reunion.

Should Davide be worried by Ekin-Su’s choice of ‘coupled-up’ pose to seem to announce that the muscle-bound Italian is the guy who loves her so much he will do anything for her? The body language here looks all about the Ekin and less about the Davide, with him appearing to be catching a naughty glance at her chest area while she socialises confidently behind her.

This could be any fan either sitting while she stands behind or maybe walking ahead down a flight of stairs and these is a sense of Ekin as the bigger, adored brand here while Davide beams in admiration.

Ekin has no barrier gestures or movements here and seems to be enjoying the attention with a rounded cheek, beaming smile aimed at someone or some fans across the room in a way that suggests she’s the star celebrity. Davide, however, has his hand pulled up to his face with the fingers curled in what looks like a cut-off ritual. His eyes are narrowed in a sideways glance and his cheeks are also rounded in a less social grin.

Most other Love Island couples are still posting poses that make them look as a mirrored, peas-in-a-body-language-pod double act, beaming at the camera with their heads together or eye-gazing to signal coupledom but this one suggests two individuals who are coupled-up. Their brand was always different and a little more grown-up than the other Love Island contestants and this choice of pose seems to emphasise that.
