The Christmas lights you can visit in your car like Blackpool Illuminations

Christmas lights in Greater Manchester have people comparing the festive decorations to Blackpool Illuminations.

And a number of Hazel Grove have brought festive cheer to many with their impressive festive light displays.

Their Christmas illuminations have lit up nearly every residential home on Warwick Drive as an annual tradition for the community - with it attracting people all across the North West.

They have dazzled many families with light-up Christmas trees, Santa Clauses, penguins, snowmen, and inflatable dinosaurs' and snow globes.

Christmas is a special and enchanting time for young children and large display decorations celebrating the festive season can help make the countdown more special.

One Facebook post said: "We love this tradition. We have to come every year. It isn't Christmas unless you've been to Warwick Drive to see the lights."

Considered one of the most Christmassy streets in Greater Manchester, the residents invite families and friends to view their efforts as they raise funds for important charities this winter.

Residents have used their popularity for their dazzling displays to raise money for various charities over the last decade, with this years lights wowing crowds for their charity of choice Space4autism, St Ann's Hospice (Greater Manchester) and Independent Options.

Cheryl Simpson MBE, Co-founder and CEO of Space4Autism told The Manchester Evening News: "Space4Autism would like to thank Tim and Sonia and all involved in the Warwick Drive Christmas Lights for choosing us as one of their chosen charities this year.

"When complete strangers do this for our charity it really is heart-warming. I cannot wait to hopefully meet Tim and Sonia in person in the new year."

You can visit the festive light display on Warwick Drive, Hazel Grove throughout December to help raise money for local charities.
