The cheesesteak restaurant that's been such a hit it's expanding to Cardiff — and the food looks awesome

A new restaurant selling loaded fries, burgers, hot dogs and more is coming to Cardiff. The Cheesesteak Company will be on Crwys Road, in what was formerly Cathays Fish Bar.

The Cheesesteak Company, owned by Amjid Saddiq, is based in Blackwood and sells the most indulgent looking food, from the Classic Philly Cheesesteak to Buffalo Wings. Amjid started the business from a trailer in Nantgarw back in 2019, and the rest is history. Amjid opened his first permanent franchise in Blackwood and is now set to open a second in Cardiff.
