Those who are on a budget and need a smaller amount of data may be intrigued by Sky Mobile's cheapest package. For £6 a month, you can get 2GB of data and unlimited texts and calls, plus any spare data rolls over for up to three years.
Sky boasts 99% UK network coverage, meaning it's a safe bet wherever you are in the country. If you're looking to get more data per month, Sky offers 50GB for £25 per month, which includes the same perks as the cheapest package.

Tesco Mobile
Tesco has a range of SIM-only contracts and the prices range from £7.50 to £30. The cheapest package includes 2GB of data, EU roaming, and unlimited calls and texts.
Those who own a Tesco Clubcard can also purchase the Unlimited package at a reduced price of £17.50, instead of the usual £30. The Unlimited SIM has EU roaming, unlimited texts and calls, and unlimited data, meaning you never have to go without an internet connection. This deal works on both 4G and 5G networks.
Smarty
Smarty's motto is "simple, honest mobile" and their SIM deals do seem to be easy to understand and on the cheaper end of the spectrum. The SIM company's cheapest deal is capped at £6 per month and includes unlimited texts and calls and 4GB of data. However, it only costs £1 more to double your included data to 8GB (£7 in total per month).
All Smarty plans include: 1 month plan, cancel anytime, unlimited calls and texts, fast 5G, 4G and 3G data, no credit check, unrestricted tethering in the UK, no speed caps, EU Roaming, and they offer SIM, Micro-SIM, and Nano-SIM sizes.
The priciest option from Smarty costs £20 and offers both unlimited data, and unlimited calls and texts.
Three
Three offer 18 different SIM-only plans, varying from 1GB to unlimited and prices range between £6 per month to £28 per month. The cheapest deal available from Three is a 24-month contract and is £6 per month. The SIM includes 1GB, unlimited texts and calls, personal hotspots, the option to unlock free roaming privileges for 24 hours.
However, for those who want a SIM on the cheaper end of the spectrum but need more data, Three are currently offering their 12GB package for £6 per month for the first six months and then £12 per month thereafter. The unlimited data package from Three sells at £28 per month and is 5G-ready with no extra cost.
GiffGaff
SIM-only plans- or goodybags as GiffGaff calls them - allow you to enjoy flexibility and savings. All of GiffGaff's goodybags come with unlimited UK calls and texts and are 4G- and 5G-ready. The cheapest plan available on the network is £6 per month, comes with 1GB of data and is contract free. The next cheapest plan offers 3GB of data for £8, while the most expensive deal (named Always On) gets you unlimited data for £25 per month.
Until December 31, 2022, GiffGaff are promising fixed prices in the UK. This applies to applies to Pay as You Go, goodybags, and all UK rates, but excludes international rates and roaming.
Lebara
Lebara offer both 30-day and 12-month contracts to suit your needs. The SIM provider are currently offering 10% off, meaning you can get their cheapest plan for £4.50 per month for 12 months, or £5 on the 30-day contract. This includes 3GB of data, 1000 UK mins and texts, 100 International mins to 42 countries, and is 5G-ready.
For those who need unlimited data, you can get this through Lebara for £22.50 per month for 12 months, or £30 on the 30-day contract. This unlimited package comes with unlimited UK mins and texts and unlimited International mins to 42 countries.
