The cheapest homes sold in Liverpool in the past year have been revealed, with the lowest price just £15,000.
The list comprises a mix of both flats and houses, with the cheapest house in the city - a terraced property in L8 - going for £20,000. Overall, the two lowest priced properties to sell between September 2021 and September 2022 were located on Broughton Hall Road in Knotty Ash . Both were flats and sold for £15,000 apiece.
A studio on Pall Mall in the heart of Liverpool city centre also changed hands for just £19,000 in August. The cheapest house to sell in the city for the year overall was located on Boswell Street in Toxteth for £20,000.

The area has excellent links to the city centre, situated between Upper Parliament Street and Smithdown Road. According to Rightmove, the last time the terraced house changed hands was in 2002 for £35,000.

In Old Swan , near the bustling Prescot Road, a property on Childers Street sold for just £21,000 in October 2021. In the area overall, properties had an average price of £147,364 over the last year, potentially offering a huge return on investment.

Three more properties across the city sold for as little as £25,000 during the period. They included a flat on Buckingham Road in Tuebrook , where the overall average price is £107,333, and terraced houses on Frodsham Street and Stanley Park Avenue South in Anfield .
In Anfield, properties had an overall average price of £108,834 over the last year, a 7% jump on the previous 12 months and a huge 17% higher than the 2008 peak. Terraces fetched an average of £96,230.
