The Chase viewers complain over 'easy questions' on hit ITV quiz show

Viewers of The Chase were left less than amused during Wednesday's show as they felt the questions were too "easy". Host Bradley Walsh was joined by four contestants from across the UK.

During tonight's episode, first up was Malcolm, a Modern Languages teacher from Dumfries and Galloway. The 46-year-old that he loved to play golf and joked that it wasn't always relaxing because he played with his wife.

And Bradley wanted to know what he would do with any cash that he won, to which he replied: "I used to be a rugby player and I've also coached rugby in some of the schools I've worked in. I would love to use the money to go over to South Africa to watch the British Lions next season."

Malcolm brought back £7,000 for the team (ITV)

The Scot then scooped an impressive £7,000 on his cashbuilder round and was faced with experienced quizzer Jenny Ryan, The Vixen, in his bid to secure a place in the final chase and bring money back for the team. Malcolm made it through, and was soon joined by Charlotte and Michaela, who also managed to outfox The Vixen - but fellow contestant Thomas wasn't so lucky.

The trio managed to bank £16,000 as they headed into the final chase. But they were not able to bring home the money, as brainbox Jenny caught the team with 29 seconds remaining.

However, those watching at home weren't particularly impressed with the standard of the questions throughout the quiz. One person took to Twitter to say: "How Easy were the chasers questions... What colour is a raven?? Really reaaallly FFS.. I'm going off this programme #thechase"

Another said: "Tonight's questions were far too easy, especially for #thechaser #thehcase" Someone else commented: "What colour is the common raven? Err, I dunno Brad. Is it orange? #TheChase" While a fourth wrote: "Easy questions #thechase.
