The Chase star Jenny Ryan has shared how former EastEnders star Dean Gaffney ruined her Valentine's Day.
The 39-year-old TV star detailed the bizarre encounter with the former Robbie Jackson actor that saw her thrown out of a first-class train cabin on Valentine’s Day.
The quiz whizz, who currently stars on the ITV game-show as The Vixen, was on the same train journey as Dean back in 2019 when the awkward incident happened.
Recalling the unforgettable Valentine's Day incident, Jenny tweeted: "J.Ry Trufax: I once spent Valentine's Day on a train with Dean Gaffney. He gave me a cupcake with a heart on it.”
Despite her seemingly sweet tweet, it wasn't exactly how things went down on the train journey.
Jenny detailed the whole story on the Comedy Arcade podcast where she publicly bashed the former soap star.
The TV star said she was left 'fuming' when she found herself interrupting his filming schedule.
"I was travelling first class on a train and someone came in and said I had to move to a different carriage because some producers were using this carriage to film an advert," Jenny explained.
“And I was all settled in I had got on the train early, I got my coffee, I was a bit fuming.
"I was in a bad mood - so I tweeted because I looked out the window and realised the person that was filming was Dean Gaffney.”
Jenny went on to reveal that she took to Twitter to call out the actor.
But within less than an hour, he had won her over after sending her a cupcake to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
“So, I tweeted that I have just been moved out of my seat on the train because of Dean Gaffney, it got picked up, and after about an hour someone shuffled down the train and said ‘Dean’s really sorry that you had to move from your seat and he wants to give you this and it was a cupcake.’ Coz he had a tray of cupcakes coz it was his birthday and I had been mean to him.”
Tweeting at the time of incident, she wrote: "I have just been evicted from my booked train seat in favour of Dean Gaffney. Oh, the indignity."
