The Los Angeles Chargers’ social media team usually outdoes itself during the NFL’s annual schedule release. This year’s wild Sims-themed video was no exception. There were so many hilarious references and Easter eggs in it that people are still slowly discovering some of them.
One of them involves the rival Las Vegas Raiders and their fans.
To reveal that the Chargers would play the Raiders in their regular-season finale, L.A. put in an actual QR code over the head of a virtual Raiders fan wearing makeup seemingly similar to a clown. If you scan the QR code as a Raiders fan and follow the requisite directions, it eventually points you to a membership signup page for the World Clown Association.
I mean, my goodness. Talk about going all out with a joke:

Folks, I checked. It’s absolutely real:
My advice to Raiders fans? Don’t take this personally.
You just happen to be one of the Chargers’ favorite punching bags by virtue of being fans of a division rival. It happens. Sometimes, you simply gotta appreciate online greatness.
