The case against the Boston Celtics trading Jaylen Brown for Kevin Durant

While there were certainly some enthusiastic supporters of the rumors that the Boston Celtics were exploring the notion of trading veteran Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant for Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown, not everyone was so excited by such a prospect.

Plenty of fans of the Celtics and Brown himself were quite unhappy with the rumors, taking to social media to voice their displeasure. But it wasn’t just fans who disliked a KD for JB swap — several NBA analysts poopooed the prospect. Among them was ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, who believes Boston is better off hanging on to Brown.

Bontemps made his case to David Jacoby on “This Just In” on why the Celtics should say no to a Durant deal.

Watch the clip embedded above to see why the ESPN analyst thinks that Boston sitting pat is the way to go.
