Here is your midday transfer round-up of Bluebirds news on transfer deadline day.
Kieffer Moore in Bournemouth
Cardiff City striker Kieffer Moore is set to undergo a medical at Bournemouth ahead of a transfer which could net the Bluebirds as much as £5m, WalesOnline has been told.
The Wales forward has been out of action for the Bluebirds since injuring his ankle against the Cherries on December 30, leading speculation to grow over the player's future in the Welsh capital.
Bournemouth have been interested in the forward for most of the January window, with Cardiff keeping tight lipped over any potential move.
But the Bluebirds have been in the market for forwards all window, too, potentially readying themselves for a deadline-day scenario in which Moore leaves the club.
And that is now the case, with Moore already en route to the south coast for his medical ahead of a move which, with add-ons, could be worth as much as £5m.
Robins reject Cardiff loan offer for Wells
Bristol City have rejected a loan offer from Cardiff City for Nahki Wells, WalesOnline has been told.
The Bluebirds are keen to "react" and replace the departing Moore and have made a number of enquiries about forward targets in this window.
After reports across the Severn emerged on Monday morning, sources have confirmed that the Bluebirds made a loan offer on Sunday night after beating Nottingham Forest 2-1, but the out-of-favour frontman is set to stay at the club.
Wells, who has scored one goal in 20 Championship games this term, however he has started just five times this term.
Football League World also claim that Leyton Orient striker Harry Smith is on Cardiff's radar, having scored 11 goals for the League Two club this term.

Bluebirds in for Sam Surridge
Cardiff City are closing in on the loan signing of Stoke City striker Sam Surridge, WalesOnline has learned.
The Bluebirds are looking to replace Kieffer Moore, who is bound for Bournemouth in a deal worth up to £5million.
Cardiff brought in Jordan Hugill last weekend but were adamant that he was not a replacement for the Wales forward. Indeed, manager Steve Morison said he was prepared to "react" if Moore left on deadline day.
And Cardiff are now trying to replace Moore with a similarly tall and imposing striker in Surridge.
The 6ft 2in forward moved from Bournemouth to Stoke in the summer and has scored four goals in 24 outings in all competitions for the Potters this term.
Oliver Denham attracting interest
Cardiff City under-23s defender Oliver Denham is attracting interest for a potential deadline day loan move, according to Steve Morison.
While Moore is set to depart, Morison does not believe that any other senior stars will leave the club before Monday's 11pm transfer deadline.
The likes of Sam Bowen and Kieron Evans were rumoured to be the subjects of transfer interest in recent days, however Morison dismissed that, but stated for Manchester United academy man Denham could depart for more senior game time.
"Possibly. But there's not been any interest," he said of Bowen and Evans.
"We have had a couple of enquiries about a couple of the younger players, like Oli Denham, people like that. We will see what happens in the next 24 hours.
"It's a really good place to be (at Cardiff). It's a really good environment and a really good football club. They are going to learn loads.
"So if they are to go it's going to have to be for the right reasons. If you're frustrated or got the hump because you're not playing, you need to realise you've been put in this situation and we are trying to help us get out of it, but you need to be around and available for when you do get your chance."

Blackburn closing in on Giles signing
Blackburn Rovers are expecting to complete the signing of versatile Wolves youngster Ryan Giles on loan until the end of the season, according to LancsLive.
Giles was recalled by Wolves at the start of the window following a fruitful loan spell with Cardiff City, making nine assists.
The 22-year-old has not made a single appearance under Bruno Lage since being recalled by his parent club and loan rules permit he is able to play for another side in the remainder of the campaign.
But it took Wolves so long to make a decision over the player that Cardiff moved for Alfie Doughty, signing him ahead of last weekend's clash with Nottingham Forest, against whom he made his debut.
Neil Harris close to Gillingham job
Former Bluebirds boss Neil Harris is expected to be named as the new Gillingham manager, according to reports.
Harris has been out of managerial work since leaving the Bluebirds a year ago, occupying himself with Sky Sports punditry in the meantime.
However, according to Alex Crook at talkSPORT, the League One club are set to appoint Harris imminently.
Harris played for Gillingham on loan back in the 2005/06 season.
Meanwhile, reports have suggested that Mick McCarthy has contacted Sunderland over the vacant managerial post there.
It comes after the Black Cats sacked Lee Johnson last weekend.
