Bertie Garratt has been spending like 'crazy' while out on holiday in Portugal, splashing close to £50k in less than a week.
The Cabins star Bertie, 23, jetted out on the lavish mini break to take some time out following a busy few months, a source has told the Mirror.
Fitness enthusiast appeared on ITV2 dating show The Cabins earlier this year and has been very busy ever since.
Bertie, who is Des O'Connor's nephew, has been busy focussing on new projects but decided to take a last minute trip to the Algarve to unwind for a short while.
A source told the Mirror how Bertie has been "spending crazily" during the Portugal trip – splashing close to £50k in less than a week.
Bertie, joined by his manager, has been "partying hard" and throughly enjoying himself while away – and has even chartered a luxury boat for the day.
The up-and-coming star is also renting one of the Algarve's most exclusive villas, the source revealed, complete with a huge pool and stunning panoramic views of the sea.
Bertie's luxury break comes ahead of the international launch of his new clothing brand WHSKY Label, which is set to kick off in August.
The star is the founder and co-owner of the chic new brand, which has been backed by Wayne Lineker.
Meanwhile, Bertie has also recently been filming a new exciting TV project.
Bertie's bright future comes after it was reported he had set his sights on the new series of Love Island.
Talking to OK! magazine, Bertie said producers of the ITV2 dating show had already been in touch in a bid to get him to join the series.
"Everyone keeps telling me I should go on Love Island, and I've had an email from them asking me to apply," he told us while on the red carpet at SX Events Launch Party.
He added: "I'm going to go ahead and do it," hinting he was going to give producers what they wanted.
"I've met some fellow reality stars and I'm starting to get more work from it all. Things are moving in the right direction."
However, Bertie later set his sights on a different TV project instead as he later told the Daily Star: "Yeah, we are about to finish the application this week that they've asked me to do, some kind of phone call thing now, but I am looking at going on a different TV programme, which in my eyes is just as good.
"There are a couple I'm going through the admin side of things at the minute and I'm just currently debating which one I'm going to do."
