With the summer holiday season coming up, the airport may be a place you think of more for jetting off on a getaway, than work.
But Bristol Airport currently has vacancies for roles working in its car parks, on bus services, in IT, engineering and even on its sustainability projects. Silver Zone host
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £22,848 per annum

Job description: Bristol Airport is looking for Silver Zone Hosts to support its parking operation. Reporting to the Ground Transportation Operations Controller, the candidate will be greeting and guiding passengers through the check-in process at the car park and also helping them retrieve their vehicles upon their return.
The role is shift-based, meaning you'll work two 12-hour shifts from 6am - 6pm and then two 12 hour shifts from 6pm-6am followed by four days off. You may work weekends and bank holidays if your shifts fall on these days.

Silver Zone parking operations assistant

Sustainable futures project manager

Job description: Bristol Airport is seeking a Sustainability futures programme manager on an 18-month fixed-term basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability and be a seasoned professional in delivering on time sensitive projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver on the Net Zero programme for 2022/23;
- You’ll develop and deliver a new Bristol Airport 2030 Carbon & Climate Change Action Plan, securing both internal and external buy-in
