The PlayStation Store Black Friday deals are live, with discounts on some of the best PS5 games old and new. There’s something for pretty much everyone, whether you want to catch up on some modern classics like Final Fantasy 7 Remake or Spider-Man before diving into new sequels or you’re looking for deals on recent hits. Most of the deals we’ve rounded up are for PS5 only, though we’ve noted where games have lower prices on PS4 or work for both systems.
The PlayStation Store Black Friday sales end on Nov. 27, 2023.
Final Fantasy 16 - $41.99
Square Enix took a big departure from the Final Fantasy norm in Final Fantasy 16, opting for a darker, heavier approach more in keeping with Final Fantasy XIV. It’s a streamlined epic, clocking it at around 35 hours or so, with some of the biggest and most iconic moments of 2023 and the best Cid in Final Fantasy. You can grab it for $41.99, though Amazon’s got the physical version for a few dollars less.
Street Fighter 6 - $39.59
The best fighting game of 2023 is on sale for $39.59. Street Fighter 6 has something for everyone, whether you’re a fighting newbie or a seasoned veteran. Detailed character customization, an exceptional roster, and plenty of modes to keep you in fighting form online and off. Capcom’s still supporting SF6 with more characters and tournaments as well.
Assassin's Creed Mirage - $39.99
Ubisoft’s “back to basics” Assassin’s Creed game with stealth at the core is down to $39.99, just a few months after launching. The spinoff prequel-sequel-side-story follows Basim in medieval Baghdad at the height of the Caliphate’s splendor, and it swaps the recent RPG approach for a stealth experience instead.
Diablo 4 - $41.99
You can go to hell at a discount, or Sanctuary, to be more precise. Diablo 4 on PS5 is down to $41.99, which is a little less than you can get it for on Amazon. Diablo 4‘s story-rich campaign is just the start. Once the credits roll, you’ve got post-campaign trials and seasonal challenges to contend with as well.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade - $15.19
Square Enix is offering a hefty discount on FF7 Remake Intergrade, the PS5 version of FF7 R that comes with the Episode Yuffie DLC as well. You can grab it for $15.19, less than half of what you’d typically pay during most sales. If you need to catch up before Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, it’s a pretty good time to do it.
God of War Ragnarok - $39.89
2022’s hit God of War sequel is going for $39.89 during Black Friday, and you can get the PS4 version for $29.99. Ragnarok doesn’t have a free upgrade path, so you won’t be able to save by getting the PS4 version and upgrading it.
The second outing for modern Kratos is bigger and mostly better than 2019’s God of War, with a more complex story and deeper emotional payoff as the father-son duo fight to prevent the end of the world – and of their relationship.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon Hero Edition - $13.99
The deluxe edition of Ichiban Kasuga’s debut Yakuza adventure is down to $13.99. This version comes with the base game and its extensive Yokohama crime story, a selection of extra classes, and a job management set, and it’s also the only version of LAD currently on sale on the PS Store. Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, the second part of Ichiban’s story, is out in January 2024, so now’s a good time to catch up if you’re interested.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - $41.99
Assassin's Creed Valhalla - $19.99
If you prefer your Assassin’s Creed with more RPG flair and lots of exploration, Valhalla is the game for you. This sprawling epic takes you across Anglo-Saxon England in one of the densest Assassin’s Creed games to date with a range of excellent side stories and no shortage of secrets to uncover. It’s going for $19.99 on the PlayStation Store.
GTA 5 - $14.99
Rockstar is gearing up to reveal GTA 6 in December, and if you’ve somehow managed to avoid GTA 5 in the last decade, now’s your chance to get it at a steep discount. The regular edition, which includes GTA Online, is going for $14.99, and you can get the premium edition with a handful of add-ons for GTA Online at $19.99 if you want to start with a little boost.
Gran Turismo 7 - $29.99
Gran Turismo 7 is discounted to the point where it’s almost a steal. Sony’s tribute to car culture and one of the best racing games in 2023 normally goes for $69.99, but you can snatch it up at $29.99. GT 7 lovingly recreates almost every aspect of race car driving, even down to the feel of tires on wet road, and it’s absolutely gorgeous.
Cyberpunk 2077 - $29.99
Cyberpunk 2077 is practically a new game with the 2.0 update, which introduced yet another round of performance improvements, revamped combat and progression options, and better enemy AI. All that is here in the version that’s on sale for $29.99.
Marvel's Spider Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition - $39.89
If you need to catch up on Insomniac’s Marvel universe before diving into Spider-Man 2, here’s your chance. Miles Morales Ultimate Edition includes Miles’ own side story, the remastered Marvel’s Spider-Man, and a few extras for PS5, all in one package for $39.89.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - $17.99
One of the best Lego games is going for an excellent price, $17.99. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga bundles together a whopping nine stories and a vast open galaxy in one package, with a suite of improvements for existing games – the original Lego Star Wars trilogy, for example – and plenty of new additions on top of the series’ signature tongue-in-cheek humor and a staggering number of playable characters.
This version works on PS4 and PS5.
Red Dead Redemption 2 - $19.79
It’s not a sale without Red Dead Redemption 2 getting dropped to $19.79, and if you haven’t played it yet, you definitely should give it a go. This prequel-sequel follows Arthur Morgan and Dutch’s outlaw gang as they navigate the harsh realities of late 19th-century America, a period full of economic and social upheaval. It’s an impressive historical epic with one of the best open worlds in the last decade.
No Man's Sky - $29.99
If you’re after a space game that’s all about the vibes, then No Man’s Sky is for you. It’s got a bit of everything – open exploration, secrets to uncover, a splash of horror, detailed space flying, and, best of all, a lovely, distinct visual style. It’s going for $29.99 and works on PS4 and PS5.
