The Golden State Warriors trailed by as many as 11 points in the fourth quarter on Friday night as Joel Embiid seemed unstoppable, but Jordan Poole led the Warriors on a furious comeback and the defending champions delivered a 120-112 victory at home.
Poole scored 19 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter, and Steph Curry added 29. The victory could be crucial in the race for playoff seeding as the regular season winds down.
With just seven games left to play until playoff action begins, the Warriors are in sixth place in the Western Conference – but are now just a half-game behind the fourth-place Clippers.
