NEW DELHI: India spin legend Anil Kumble stated that he does not see any reason why young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal cannot thrive in Australia during the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy later this year. He also noted that Jaiswal's variety may work to his advantage during the Australian trip.

Speaking on JioCinema, Kumble noted that Jaiswal has been reliable in the current ICC World Test Championship cycle of 2023-25 and that, during the recently finished home series against Bangladesh, he was also able to adjust his tactics based on bowlers and conditions.
