What exactly did star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown do to deserve his historic, $304 million supermax contract extension? Namely, the Georgia native had himself one of the best seasons of his still-young NBA career by making All-NBA for the first time, on the Second Team as a forward.
The Cal alum put up a career-high of 26.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 49.1% from the field overall, a lower-than-usual 33.5% from beyond the arc, and 76.5% from the free throw line on his way to helping the Celtics get back to the Eastern Conference Finals, falling short of their ultimate goal of competing for a title last season.
To celebrate Brown’s bag, the folks behind the Maxamillion 711 YouTube channel put together a compilation of the Marietta native’s best plays from the 2023-24 season.
