Earlier this week supermarket giant Iceland announced it's set to close several of its UK stores. Five Iceland supermarkets have been earmarked for closure, with the Birmingham Road Retail Park, Bromsgrove branch and the Chineham Shopping Centre, Basingstoke branch first to go on February 25.
Marks and Spencer (M&S) also Is proposing the closure of a number of stores across the UK months after its announcement of 67 larger shop closures. However, there is a silver lining, as M&S has now confirmed the opening of more M&S Simply Food Hall shops.
