The 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Has an Impressive New Turbo-Four Engine

Stellantis has a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It’s called Hurricane 4 Turbo, and it’s one of the first mass-produced engines to utilize a passive turbulent jet ignition (TJI) system. It makes 324 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, and we’ll see it first in the refreshed 2026 Grand Cherokee that Jeep also revealed today.
