Well-known Irish solicitor Richard Grogan has sadly passed away as his colleagues paid tribute.
The Dublin-based solicitor had a highly successful career in employment and personal injury law and established his own firm Richard Grogan & Associates Solicitors.
He become a popular household name when he started posting videos on TikTok in December 2021 offering employment law advice, with his page @richardgrogansolicitors garnering over 296,000 followers and 2.2 million likes.

Mr Grogan's videos became popular with young people and his followers enjoyed his no-nonsense breakdown of Irish law and he was well known for famous his catchphrase: "That’s the law and that’s a fact."
In a statement on Twitter, The Law Society of Ireland paid tribute, writing: "The Law Society is deeply saddened to learn of Council member Richard Grogan's passing.
"Richard was a tireless advocate, both in proceedings and in the public arena. We will miss his energy, humour, and deep commitment to the profession."
Former president of the Law Society of Ireland, Stuart Gilhooly SC, also paid tribute on Twitter, writing: "RIP Richard Grogan. He had been unwell for some months but wore his illness with bravery and stoicism.
"His work in making employment law accessible to the consumer and in the most simple terms will never be forgotten."
Just last month, Mr Grogan was named Lawyer of the Year at the 2022 Dye and Durham Irish Law Awards.
The cause of his death has not been confirmed and his funeral details have yet to be announced.
