Manchester City fans have praised Erling Haaland for the passion he showed at full-time as the Blues beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park. City found it difficult to break down a stubborn Palace side on Saturday evening with the likes of Rodri, Jack Grealish and Haaland all going close to breaking the deadlock.
However, Pep Guardiola's team had the perfect chance to take the lead in the 78th minute. Michael Olise tripped Ilkay Gundogan in the area to earn the spot kick. Haaland stepped up and coolly wrong-footed Vicente Guaita to win the match.
His goal was the 33rd of the season for the Norwegian who has enjoyed a dream debut season in the Premier League. At full-time Haaland could not hide his delight at the result.

Firstly he began by shouting and beating his and his teammates' chests. This celebration did not stop despite Palace defender Joel Ward attempting to shake hands with the City men.
Not done celebrating the result, Haaland then went over to the travelling away supporters pumping his fist as he soaked up the away support's appreciation. That corner of Selhurst Park was not the only contingent of City fans who were happy to see Haaland's celebrations.

City's attention will now turn to the Champions League. On Tuesday night, the Blues host RB Leipzig in their return leg in Europe's elite club competition.
The tie is currently on a knife edge at 1-1 ahead of the game at the Etihad Stadium.
