Thanks to Khloé Kardashian, My Next French Manicure Will Be All About Pastel Green

We already know by now that Khloé Kardashian loves a French manicure, and in honor of Easter, she just added a soft but colorful twist to the design.

The reality star took to her Instagram Story on April 1 to share a close-up look at the French manicure she plans on spending the month wearing. On first glance, it looks like she's rocking the traditional version of the design with white tips, but if you look slightly closer, you can see that she actually swapped out the classic shade with a very soft, pastel green color in honor of Easter. Per the caption, Kardashian's nails were designed by her go-to manicurist, Zola Ganzorigt.

Kardashian certainly isn't the only one in the family who's leaning into spring and Easter-themed nail art at the moment. Earlier this week, Kylie Jenner shared a look at her own spring manicure, which featured colorful rhinestones arranged into tiny flowers on top of a pink nude base, also designed by Ganzorigt. She even let her daughter, Stormi, join in on the fun with an Easter-themed French manicure featuring 3D bunny designs and ribbons on alternating nails.

There's really no better time of year to join in on the pastel nail trend than spring, since colors like lilac, butter yellow, and soft green are often associated with the warmer, brighter weather most of us have been craving after a brutal winter. "They can instantly make you feel like you're on vacation no matter where you live," celebrity manicurist and KISS ambassador Julie Kandalec previously told MC. "The soft tones pop on tan or darker skin tones, yet they still flatter lighter skin tones as well." In general, this is also the time of year when most of us are tempted to wear softer nail designs and colors after a winter spent wearing moody, dark shades like chocolate brown and black.

The good news is that there isn't just one way to wear pastel nail colors. You can easily incorporate a pastel shade (or two) into a French manicure like Kardashian did, or you can color block. Read ahead for a few ways you can get the look.
