Patrick emphasized that the Texas government is not seeking a confrontation but rather urging the Biden administration to do its job in protecting the lives of Texans and Americans and securing the borders. He criticized the administration's policies, stating that they are directly responsible for the deaths caused by the smuggling of fentanyl, murders committed by MS-13 gang members, and the loss of law enforcement officers on duty due to illegal border crossings.
