The Houston Texans have reworked their roster three days into training camp.
The Texans waived-injured undrafted free agent tackle Dylan Deatherage Friday.
As a corresponding move, the Texans improved their tackle depth with the signing of former New York Jets offensive lineman George Fant.
Deaetherage went undrafted from Western Michigan. The 6-4, 310-pounder was a semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy as part of his 12-game campaign with the Broncos in 2022. The Kankakee, Ill. native demonstrated position flex in his college career by starting six games at right guard in 2020.
Deatherage earned Academic All-MAC in four of his five seasons at Western Michigan.
