When you aren’t expected to win much, you take the “W” anytime and anywhere.
Lovie Smith is the coach of the Houston Texans, his third go as a head man in the NFL.
His Texans were trailing the Saints in the fourth quarter Saturday when journeyman Jeff Driskel delivered some magic.
It came in the form of a 7-play, 90-yard drive that was capped by a 6-yard TD pass to Johnny Johnson III with 25 seconds left.
After the PAT, Houston had a 17-13 victory, and Saints head coach Dennis Allen took a loss in his first game in the position.
With less than a minute to go, the @houstontexans finish a stunning drive with a TD to take the lead! 😎

Driskel, who is looking to back up Davis Mills, was 16-of-26 for 165 yards and a pair of TD passes. He also threw a trio picks, which won’t help his case.
Johnson is another nice training-camp story.
He signed as an undrafted free agent after playing at Oregon, where he had 25 catches for 311 yards and a touchdown in 10 games before breaking a bone in his right foot last season.
He finished No. 10 in Oregon history with 139 career receptions and just outside the top 10 in program history with 1,928 career receiving yards.
