Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud made one young fan’s day this weekend at the Pro Bowl Games.
Stroud met with 11-year-old Hudson and signed his jersey Friday. Hudson attended the Pro Bowl through the Make-A-Wish foundation, according to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe. Hudson has a respiratory disorder. Other players like Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce also met with Make-A-Wish kids.

This is what football and the Pro Bowl are all about – bridging the gap between the fans and the players. Stroud has quickly proven to be a fan-favorite, too after his sensational rookie season.
He led the Texans all the way to the top of AFC in his first year and then to the AFC divisional round after a huge wild card win over the Cleveland Browns. Stroud’s performance could earn him NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, too.
Peyton Manning also predicted Stroud would win Pro Bowl MVP before the Texans quarterback lit up the precision passing challenge on the first day of the Games.
