It didn’t take long for the Houston Texans to respond after the Cleveland Browns took an early second-quarter lead.
Browns running back Kareem Hunt scored his second touchdown less than three minutes into the second quarter to go up 14-10. But one play after the ensuing kickoff, Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud threw a short pass to tight end Brevin Jordan in the flat, who took it 76 yards for Stroud’s second touchdown pass of the day.

While this was a great play design by offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, Jordan outran defenders right and left on his way to the endzone.

That catch broke Jordan’s career-high for a single reception as well as a career-high in receiving yards in a game.
The touchdown put the Texans back up 17-14 following Nico Collins’ earlier touchdown. Stroud now already has 181 passing yards on the game.
