Texans not expected to have two starting LBs against Browns

The Cleveland Browns will play a very depleted Houston Texans team this week.

Not only will the Texans likely not have quarterback C.J. Stroud in Week 16, but Houston is reportedly not expected to have linebackers Will Anderson Jr. and Blake Cashman in this game, according to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson.

That duo didn’t play in Week 15, either, though the Texans were able to pull off the overtime win over the Tennessee Titans. Anderson had five sacks and 42 combined tackles during his rookie season, while Cashman still leads the team with 87 combined tackles.

Not having either is big for the Cleveland Browns offense. Joe Flacco might still have trouble against a Texans defense that still sacked Titans quarterback Will Levis seven times and limited the Titans to just 66 yards on ground a week ago.
