Tesla opens Roadster bookings in India: Check price, launch date and Model Y L details

Tesla has opened reservations for its new Roadster in India on October 17, 2026, with production scheduled to begin in 2028, while the Model Y L six-seater SUV has received a complimentary Acceleration Boost. Tesla has priced the Model Y at ₹50.89 lakh and the Model Y L at ₹61.99 lakh.

Tesla announced that the new Roadster is available for online reservations in India and select other countries alongside the United States. The company said production would begin in 2028, with the vehicle initially available only in a left-hand-drive configuration. Availability will be subject to regional legal requirements and applicable laws.
