NEW DELHI: Days after refusing to be a part of Twitter's board, Tesla chief Elon Musk on Thursday offered to buy the social media company for a whopping $41 billion in cash.
In a letter to Twitter chairman Bret Taylor, Musk said that the company needs to go private in order to see effective changes.
"Since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form. Twitter needs to be transformed as a private company," Musk wrote.
