Tesco shoppers have criticised the grocer’s Clubcard prices initiative after discovering customers are paying double for some items outside of the scheme.
The supermarket giant, which offers cardholders reductions on dozens of items, has come under fire for charging some people significantly more if they are not a loyalty card holder.
Speaking on Twitter, one shopper said it was "dreadful" that Tesco was charging £16 for an item with a Clubcard and £40 without it.
