Tesco customers are being urged "please don't eat" a number of dessert items that have now been pulled from store fridges.
The supermarket has warned shoppers that a number of its cheesecakes are being recalled as a precaution. This is because the products may contain traces of walnuts which aren’t declared on the label.
A Tesco notice reads: "As a precaution, we’re recalling all batch codes of Tesco Free From Strawberry Cheesecake, Wicked Kitchen Millionaires Sundae, Wicked Kitchen Strawberry and Vanilla Cheesecake, and Wicked Kitchen Chocolate and Vanilla Cheesecake, because they may contain traces of walnuts which aren’t declared on the label."

- Tesco Free From Strawberry Cheesecake 2x100g
- Wicked Kitchen Millionaires Sundae 110g
- Wicked Kitchen Strawberry and Vanilla Cheesecake 100g
- Wicked Kitchen Chocolate and Vanilla Cheesecake 100g
And all best before dates are impacted by the warning. Anyone with a nut allergy is advised to not consume the product, but instead return it to a Tesco store for a full refund.
