Supermarket shelves are stacked wall to wall, floor to ceiling with Easter eggs - but did you know that there are some chocolate treats exclusive to certain stores?
Tesco has revealed its huge range of Easter eggs for 2022, with over 200 products from big brands – plus 32 exclusive chocolate creations available only to Tesco shoppers.
This year, Easter falls on Sunday, April 17, but customers have already been stocking up in advance to avoid missing out on the best flavours.
Highlights of the new and exclusive products for Tesco shoppers include the Kit Kat Biscoff Giant Egg, Lindt Salted Caramel Egg, Cadbury Chocolate Fingers Egg and for those who love the discarded Celebration’s - a Bounty Giant Chocolate Egg.

There are also returning favourites on the shelves with the Reese's Peanut Butter Egg, Cadbury Dairy Milk Orange Giant Buttons Easter Egg and Lindt Gold Animal Print Bunny Milk Chocolate.
I tried some of Tesco’s exclusive XL eggs - and it just goes to show that orange flavoured chocolate perhaps isn’t just for Christmas.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Orange Giant Buttons Easter Egg comes in at £10, featuring a delightful hollow milk chocolate egg and one bag of orange-flavoured milk chocolate buttons.
I’ve previously thought that orange chocolate feels like left over festive treats, however, this Easter egg does feel quite fresh for spring. Not only that, but it’s so big, it could probably see you through to Christmas anyway!
My favourite from the Tesco selection had to be the Cadbury Fingers Chocolate Egg, which is a whopping 547g of chocolate, priced at £12.
The new creation is a smooth milk chocolate egg with the much-loved shortbread biscuit inside the shell for extra crunch, alongside three bags of mini milk chocolate coated finger biscuits.
Tesco estimates that there are 17 portions in this egg, but for those looking for something that won’t take up the entire fridge, there’s one half the size in the same Cadbury Fingers flavour for £5, too.
If you know someone nuts about nuts, you can now treat them to the Cadbury Dairy Milk Ultimate Chopped Nut Easter Egg - another XL creation at Tesco for £12.
It’s got a classic Cadbury milk chocolate egg with crunchy hazelnut pieces embedded in the shell. Also included in the box is a Cadbury milk chocolate bar with chopped hazelnuts.
With such an array of much-loved flavours, including tangy chocolate orange, sweet biscoff, salted caramel and crunchy nuts, there really is a treat for everyone.
In addition, Tesco are also stocking their own brand range of Easter treats, as well as branded treats marketed for little ones, like the Cadbury Dairy Milk Peter Rabbit Easter Egg for little ones, to the Ferrero Rocher Golden Easter Egg Milk Chocolate for adults with a more sophisticated palette.
For families getting prepped for a competitive Easter egg hunt around the home and looking for delicious eggs which won’t break the bank, Tesco also has a range of smaller exclusive egg treats from big brands, including Cadbury Dairy Milk Orange Mini Chocolate Eggs and Cadbury five Oreo Chocolate Egg pack.
So whatever your plans this Easter, there’s enough choice to make sure no one is disappointed with the eggs they find.
