Tesco has urged customers to take advantage of a scheme that allows you to triple your Clubcard vouchers - before a huge change slashes how much they're worth.
Clubcard points are currently worth three times their amount when you shop with a "Rewards Partner" but from June 14, they will only be worth twice their amount.
So right now, if you have 500 Clubcard points they are worth £5 when you spend them in-store - but when converted to use with a "Rewards Partner" they are worth £15.
From June 14, the same points will only be worth £10.
Tesco has warned shoppers about the change and urge its 20million Clubcard members to take advantage of the deal before it changes.
The supermarket chain says that once the vouchers are converted, then shoppers can relax as any "Rewards Partner" codes ordered up to 11:59pm on June 13, 2023 will be valid for one year from the date of issue.
So this means you have until June 13, 2024 to use the voucher - normally they are valid for only six months but Tesco has extended this.
Tesco currently has around 100 Rewards Partners which include Disney+, Thorpe Park, Pizza Express, Legoland and Zizzis.
If you want to be a little more practical then you can also use your points to get money off railcards, English and maths tuition, and even haircuts.
Alessandra Bellini, Tesco’s Chief Customer Officer said: “We want to help customers’ household budgets stretch further right now and Clubcard unlocks the best value from Tesco - from thousands of exclusive deals through Clubcard Prices to money off your groceries and fuel, or redeeming vouchers with the biggest and most generous Reward Partner scheme.
“While we are making a change to how members can use their vouchers with our Reward Partners, we want to remind millions of Clubcard holders to redeem their vouchers at 3x the value until June 13 so they can use their Reward Partner codes to give "
"We have extended the validity of redeemed codes at the three times rate, so if swapped before the deadline, they will be valid for a year, instead of six months, to give customers even more time to enjoy them.”
This isn't the only change Tesco Clubcard members will see on June 14. Currently, motorists are awarded one point for every £2 they spend on fuel.
The new change will mean that you get one point for every two litres of fuel you buy instead of one point for every £2 you spend.
