Tesco is urging shoppers to pay a £2.49 fee every month

Supermarket giant Tesco is urging shoppers to pay a £2.49 fee every month. The retailer says it could save people a lot of money in the long run as prices continue to soar.

With costs increasing at what feels like a never-ending rate, many people are looking for ways to reduce their supermarket spend as much as possible. So to help shoppers make their supermarket budget go that extra bit further, Tesco has introduced three delivery saver schemes for as little as £2.49 per month - and for many the monthly cost is cheaper than the price of petrol to the nearest store.

It's the first time delivery memberships have been available since they were forced to stop during the pandemic, to give way to individuals at risk. Tesco's new click-and-collect membership plan and two new delivery saver tiers aim to give customers more choice and flexibility when it comes to doing the weekly shop - and even better, customers can convert their clubcard vouchers into cashback to use towards delivery.
