Popular supermarkets have been forced to recall certain products in new warnings issued by the Food Standards Agency.
Supermarket giants Tesco, Iceland and Morrison's are all affected by the latest point of sale alerts, reports Lancaster Live. An IKEA product sold in stores across the country is also urgently being pulled from the shelves over a 'head injury and cuts' risk.
Customers who have purchased these items are being advised to not consume them, and instead, return them to the store on their next visit in exchange for a full refund.

Some products contain ingredients that are not listed on the label, that could cause potential allergic reactions. Read on below for a full list of all the supermarket products being removed from the shelves so far.
Tesco Free From Golden Syrup Porridge Pot
Tesco is recalling their Tesco Free From Golden Syrup Porridge Pot because it contains milk - which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. Customers can return the product to stores in exchange for a a full refund.
The label clearly states that the product is free from wheat, gluten and milk - but this is now not the case. The product details are as follows:

- Batch code: 2252
- Best before date: September 1, 2023
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) website reads: "Tesco is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a recall notice to its customers.
"These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product."
Marks and Spencer's Count on Us Thai style green chicken Curry
The supermarket giant is recalling their Count on Us Thai style green chicken Curry due to some packs containing crustaceans and molluscs which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to crustaceans and/or molluscs.
The product details are as follows:
Pack size: 350 grams
Use by date: January 22, 2023
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to crustaceans and/or molluscs, do not eat it. Instead, return it to your nearest store for a full refund. For more information contact Marks & Spencer on 03330148555."
Morrison's Tomato and Chilli Pasta Sauce
Morrison's is continuing to recall their own-brand Chilli and Tomato Pasta Sauce as it contains milk - which is not mentioned on the ingredients label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. The product details are as follows:
- Pack size: 350 grams
- Use by date: January 25, 2023
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund."
IKEA LETTAN mirror
A popular mirror sold by IKEA in stores across the UK has been urgently recalled over safety and potential injury fears.
A recall notice for IKEA LETTAN mirrors with particular date stamps has been issued by the Government's Office for Product Safety and Standards.
The mirrors present a risk of injuries due to the potential for the wall fitting to break and the mirror to fall. This recall notice affects the products, that are sold in four sizes, that have been on sale since February 2020.
The Government's recall notice reports that "the product presents a risk of injuries as the wall fittings for the mirror may break, causing the mirror to fall". It adds that "the product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005".
The company's website reads: "IKEA asks customers who have purchased a LETTAN mirror with date stamps before and including 2105 (yyww), to stop using it and contact IKEA to order wall fittings free of charge. IKEA has received reports of the mirrors falling due to the wall fittings breaking, therefore posing the risk of injury.
"As such, we are issuing a recall for repair for the affected date stamps. Customers are kindly asked to carefully check the stamp dates on the back of their LETTAN mirrors following the instructions below and order wall fittings free of charge if affected.
"Customers can also contact IKEA on 0203 645 0010. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."

Iceland Mars Dessert Bar
Iceland are continuing their recall notice for the Mars Dessert Bar, as it may contain peanuts and egg - which is not mentioned anywhere on the label. As a result of a packaging error, some packs have been incorrectly packed with Snickers Dessert Bar.
This means the aforementioned product is a possible health risk for anyone with allergies to peanuts or egg. The product details are as follows:
- Pack size: 600 grams
- Best before date: February 24, 2024
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to peanuts and/or an allergy or intolerance to egg, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund."
