Tesco, B&Q, Decathlon and Co-op have all recalled items in recent days due to health and safety concerns. Some of the products have been recalled due to the presence of possible salmonella, while others have been found to contain undeclared allergens, according to Trading Standards.
When a product is recalled for any reason, Trading Standards shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.

Tesco Frozen All Butter Croissants
Tesco is recalling Tesco Frozen All Butter Croissants 6 pack because it may contain almonds (nuts) not mentioned on the label. Due to a packaging error some packs may have been incorrectly packed with Tesco Frozen Almond Croissants, which contain almonds. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to almonds.

This product contains mustard making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard. Purchasers with an allergy to mustard, should not eat it and should instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Plastimo inflatable lifejackets
Decathlon has issued a notice regarding PLASTIMO lifejackets equipped with Hammar Hydrostatic Inflator MA1 assembled with ISI CO2 cylinder including rearming kits. Despite rigorous quality control procedures, PLASTIMO has noticed a number of lifejackets which do not meet company safety performance requirements nor the ISO 12402 standards of an inflation time above five seconds. The risk is a slow deployment of the vest, which can lead to a risk of drowning.
All customers must stop using the lifejackets. These must be returned for inspection where free appropriate replacement of the Hammar MA1 inflator and gas cylinder will be done by Plastimo or an approved service station.
The notice applies to products purchased from September 1, 2021 to April, 2022.
