This is the terrifying moment two foxes are trapped on a rapidly disappearing sandbank in north Dublin.
Emergency services have issued a warning as hundreds of Dubliners are set to flock to beaches this weekend. The Youtube footage by Karl H, which was shared by the Irish Coast Guard in Howth, shows the two animals sitting on a patch of land at Baldoyle Estuary while the sand around them starts to quickly sink underwater.
Towards the end of the video, you can see the foxes desperately paddling to stay afloat as the sandbank has completely disappeared in a matter of minutes. Thankfully, the foxes managed to swim safely to the shore.
