Rude staff and bad service were the order of the day at a new pop-up dining experience in Newcastle.
The unique concept called 'Rude' has made its debut in the city and it's not for the faint-hearted. It sees staff go out of their way to be insulting to customers who actually pay for the privilege - with the guarantee it will be a night they won't forget.
Organiser Jeremy Wade, who owns the popular wood-fried pizza truck, Truly Madly Pizza, was inspired to host event after seeing the growing popularity of restaurants with the cheeky concept in America and Australia. And it seems the idea went down a storm with brave diners in Newcastle when it was held at The Turbinia, Fossway, on Saturday, November 19.
