Tens of thousands of lives could be at risk from cancer because patients live too far away from hospitals, a major charity has warned.

An estimated four in 10 people with cancer in the UK have struggled to access care because of where they live, meaning they have to turn down vital tests and treatments, according to analysis by Macmillan Cancer Support.
