Ten ‘half-dead’ puppies rescued from searing vans during record heatwave

Nearly a dozen dogs and puppies were found “half-dead” after being left in vans on a ferry during this week’s heatwave.

The canines were discovered being transported during the 90-minute journey between France and the UK on Tuesday, as Britain battled searing 40C heat.
