Met Eireann suggests that cloudy but mostly dry weather will dominate Dublin in today's forecast.
Temperatures have risen considerably since last week, with highs of 7 to 9 degrees expected during the daytime. There will be occasional outbreaks of rain and drizzle amid the warmer weather.
However, the dry conditions will give way to heavier rain overnight, moving in from the west. Temperatures will remain mild with lows of 6 to 9 degrees reported.
