Two boys have been charged after a teenager was allegedly stabbed on a bus in Melbourne’s north.
Police believe the 17-year-old from Reservoir was involved in an altercation with the two boys about 4.15pm on Friday.
It’s alleged he was stabbed in the upper body while on the Preston bus.
The teen was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and he remains there in a serious condition.
Detectives on Sunday arrested a 14-year-old Heidelberg West boy and a 16-year-old boy from Albert Park over the alleged incident.
The 14-year-old was charged with intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, affray and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
He was remanded to appear before a children’s remand court.
The 16-year-old was charged with possessing a prohibited weapon and bailed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
