A teenager was rushed to hospital after a violent street brawl involving weapons on Monday night (April 3). A group of around 14 people were involved in the large disorder on Tweedale Street in Rochdale at around 10.30pm.
Police said people were seen to be carrying and using weapons in the attack before then running off from the area as members of the public came over to intervene.
A 16-year-old suffered injuries in the incident and was rushed to hospital for treatment where he remains. Another teenager, also 16, was arrested on Tuesday morning on suspicion of section 18 assault and is in custody.
