A teenager is being reported for "mindless behaviour" in connection with vandalism in Inverkeithing that involved spray painting on walls.
South West Fife Police tweeted at 9.44pm tonight (Thursday) that the incident happened in the Fife port town to the south-east of Rosyth, near the Firth of Forth, and north-west of Edinburgh.
It said: "Sticking with the theme of mindless behaviour this evening. A 19-year-old male is being reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with a vandalism at the #Ferrytoll Park and Ride in #Inverkeithing. I'm not sure what they expected by spray painting several walls #Court."
The reference to "mindless behaviour" followed an earlier post on Twitter from South West Fife Police, who said that a patrol was dispatched to Ferrytoll Park and Ride in Inverkeithing in the evening because of some reported issues of anti-social behaviour and graffiti. "Someone will be getting a chap on their door soon," the post stated. "How can you not see these CCTV cameras? Car registration…"
